November 2021

Dear Friends of Mexico,

Currently, out of the 32 states in our country, Mexico, there are just two states with yellow status and one with orange in the stoplight system. The remaining 29 are green. Todays report states that yesterday there were around 877 active cases in the whole nation and 77 deaths as a result of Covid. We realize that these statistics are not real accurate, but we are thankful for the decrease in cases in our country. Schools have been returning to in-person classes little by little, and life is a bit more “normal”, but always with all the precautions in place to protect our health.

Kerry had a safe trip to Coatzacoalcos last month with a bus ride from Puebla to Oaxaca included due to a mix-up in his airline ticket! But everything worked out perfectly, just took a little longer to get there, and we are thankful. Coatzacoalcos is an 8 hour drive from Oaxaca on a very curvy highway!! While in Oaxaca, Kerry ministered at the Bible School and the Doulos Rehabilitation Center. Also, he was privileged preach at Aposento Alto church. One afternoon he was blessed to be able to visit Pastor Aurelio Perez in the village of San Lorenzo where he has ministered several times. The next session of the extension Bible School will be held on the 10 and 11 of December. This next time Kerry will be driving his pickup and hauling his motorcycle, which he has donated to Guillermo Fernandez and the Doulos Rehabilitation Center.

We have our website up and running! Of course there are lots of rough spots which will need to be smoothed over, but we are so thankful and excited for this area of ministry. You can look us up at: http://vidadeexito.net. Or if you like, type in Ministerios Vida de Exito. We welcome any comments and suggestions!

Pastors Joel and Alba (Palabra de Fe) have a heart to minister to marriages, and had a special dinner and ministry for married couples the first part of October.

On Sunday afternoon, October 31, Pastors Ricardo and Raquel (Viento Apacible) held a kids gathering, called “I ́m not afraid”, at their church and had 35 children from our churches, and others, in attendance. It was a safe and blessed way to keep children off the streets and present them with a better way to have fun on a pagan holiday.

There were over 50 youth in attendance at the recent event hosted by our church, Palabra de Gracia. The kids enjoyed the mini concerts given by several of the worship teams, complete with volume, lights, smoke and enthusiasm, and also received encouragement and ministry to keep going in spite of the troubling times they have experienced. We believe that the event was a blessing to all who attended. We thank the Lord for our youth leaders, Luis and Marlenn.

The 27 and 28 of November, Pastors Mario and Lety (La Vid) will be hosting a conference with guest speaker Obed Montes of Sonora. Please pray that it will be an encouragement and help to all who attend.

Pastors Matias and Socorro (Palabra Viva) have a good group of children enthusiastically attending all the services in their little mission church.

We are so thankful for our young pastors who have stepped up to lead their congregations and bless others through special ministry. Please remember them in your prayers. We value your prayers so much! Thank you! And for your very generous offerings to this ministry. We pray for your daily. Love and blessings, Kerry and Twyla Ruggles.
